 Of all the places we visited, we thought Crater Lake was probably
the most beautiful. I think we could have sat up there on the rim and admired the lake all day long. Of course the Lodge stays booked
up far in advance, so we spent a night in the camp ground there, and even debated about staying for a second night. By the way, the reservation
system for the US National Park campground is rather dumb! If you need a camp site, be sure and take care of it before you leave. Camp
grounds in Yosemite are ONLY by reservation, so it's too late when you get there. Also, regardless of where you are, they work on EST,
and close early, so do it at least TWO days ahead!
