The model White House exhibit was back again this year, and this time it was decorated for Christmas and housed in the Hall of State

The Lincoln bedroom in miniature, probably the closest I'll ever come to it!
Jim and Connie enticed us to try out the latest bed they'd discovered. Angie was ready to buy one until we heard the cost. Have
to rob a bank first!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Jim seems to have found the perfect chair.
While we were busy relaxing and getting a massage, who should be laughing at us but the Barnes. We told the saleswoman that Norma
was a rich Texas heiress and would buy at least one if not two. Then we left.
The old fair staple, Belgian waffles, is still in the same place and going strong.
Connie and Angie with Big Tex and the tower building in the background.
Marion and Shue Fong Dilley came up from Harker Heights to see the fair we keep talking about. We started them off right with Turkey
legs at Hans Mueller's.
Angie and I were kind'a wondering what to do next.
The Woofus is still holding court just down from Owens and across from the ranch arena.
The ranch arena featured a most interesting demonstration of how to train a horse. We all learned something.
The Vita Mix demonstration featured free food, so it was always a popular destination. I'm afraid she's going to buy one of those
things one of these days though!
Shue Fong decided to try out for the Dallas Cowboys' Cheerleader squad. She has my vote!
As the sun was setting, we had to have a picture with the fair in the background.
Three girls who never quite grew up had to try out the photo booth. Unfortunately they picked one that only "spoke" Spanish, but
they got results anyway!
