Is she serious that she really ATE that? Before she left, Alice swore to me that she LOVED cucumber sandwiches, and that she was looking forward to high tea on the Queen Mary2 for just that reason. She sent along this picture as proof that she made good on her statement! Alice and Carol just got back from a Fourth of July cruise to the Bahamas on the Cunard line's Queen Mary 2, and despite this ...shudder... "sandwich", they seem to have really had a great time. This, and the pictures that follow were taken by Carol and Alice on their cruise. Thanks for letting me share them. |

The return to NY harbor was EARLY in the morning, and the girls were up to view the sunrise...and to make sure they caught their early flight! Alice tells me she shot this with her new Nikon which she bought on the cruise. Now I'm doubly jealous! Good pictures! |
