Before we let Thijs and Elizes leave Texas, we thought they had to have a good BBQ dinner. With time short, we settled for a BBQ lunch at Spring Creek in Richardson.

From the looks on their faces, I think Texas food suits them! Thijs managed to clean up that plate, and sample a few ribs from others too! Here's hoping they have some good memories of Texas and Texans.

OK, one last picture before they ride off into the sunset on their trusty . . . Greyhound. Just to make sure they don't starve on the trip, that's a sack of ribs that Elizes is holding to take on the bus!
