November 2006

Joe is busy cooking up a storm for Thanksgiving lunch

Joe is busily slicing ham and plating side dishes for Thanksgiving dinner 2006. Angie was back home in Taiwan to help her mother celebrate her 80th birthday, so we had to stumble along and fix our own turkey!

Turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.

There's still more to go, but the turkey, dressing, ham, peas, corn and rolls have already made it to the table.

In Angie's absence we still managed to put a good tasting turkey on the table

I got elected to carve the turkey, and it seemed to amuse mother

I even got drafted to carve the turkey. Talk about the blind leading the blind. I didn't hear any complaints, however!

Nathan showed up in a new suit looking like a Philadelphia lawyer. So...., of course I had to get a picture of him with a proud mama.

Nathan showed up all dressed up and I got his picture with his mother

Mother's always cold, but today's she's happy to be with family

And I got a chance to relax with my mother, now 87. She's looking pretty good if I do say so myself. We've got her wrapped up with a blanket to keep her warm in the cool house
