Dyer even managed to get the Gibson County High School band to march in the parade. Well at least part of it! They went on to march in the Kenton parade also I'm told. That's cousin Samuel in the center playing trombone, while his brother Nathan drove the aldermen's car and played "The Millionaire" on the float above. |
Cousin Nathan Reed got this picture of my mother with her "traditional" bowl of strawberries and ice cream on Mother's Day. According to Nathan, this has gotten to be a regular tradition out at their place. She looks pretty pleased with it to me! |
And I guess now that Nathan's a Dyer Alderman, he's picking up political pointers where ever he can get them - like from Tennessee Governor Bredesen. From what I heard, they shook, howdied, and broke bread at the Governor's luncheon at the annual Strawberry Festival in Humboldt. |
Cousin Natalee Reed provided this Christmas 2004 picture of Larry and Jan Edmondson Durbin. Jan is a daughter of Bill and Sally Edmondson of Dyer and discoverer of the Tcotu principle. |
Doug Duncan is still doing a booming business at his pharmacy in Dyer. |
Earl Ray Pitt included this picture of his horse in his Christmas greetings this year. Didn't catch the name of the horse, but that appears to be Earl up there in the saddle. |
Thanks to Nathan Reed for sending along this picture of my mother as they treated her like a queen for Mother's Day 2004. Looks like Joe has just fixed her up with strawberries and ice cream! |
Alice Ball McCutcheon, after much prodding, sent along this recent (March 2004) picture. As you can see, Alice is working at the Tennessee Technology Center in Paris these days. |
Alice and Carol are still best buddies, and seem to usually take a summer cruise or vacation together. Here they are at Captain Tony's in Key West having "too much fun"! |
