How time flies! Nenette sent me this school picture of Edward, now officially a first grader. Seems like only yesterday that he was just a baby. |

Halloween 2001 found Ed in Hong Kong, so Angie and I joined Nenette to carve a pumpkin into a Jack-O-Lantern and take Edward "trick or treating". He did so well that he had to empty that green goodie bag twice into my jacket pockets before continuing.

We managed to get together with the Nances and the Lowes in March 2002. The biggest news seems to be Edward who has lost two of his teeth. He tells me he got $5 from the tooth fairy. Boy, she sure pays a lot better than she did when I was his age! The other big news is that Edward has a new puppy who is named "Smokey" (see below). His dad vows that Edward picked the name all by himself, and it's just a co-incidence that Ed had a dog named that when he was a boy. |

Well I finally got a chance to meet Smokie! Ed stopped by in a hurry to drop off some files I'd asked him to download for me, and Edward and Smokie were in the back seat. Nice looking dog, Edward! |
