Ed finally had to pack up and
head back home to Hong Kong in Early May. We took the family out for a
catfish dinner as a going away party.
Edward's got two new teeth and
is turning into a baseball player now! We're going to play catch soon.
Ed shot this picture of Edward and I at dinner at the Cajun Catfish. See
those teeth!
Well everyone knows Girl Scouts sell cookies. Apparently these days
the Cub Scouts sell popcorn. Edward had to drop by recently to practice
his sales technique on Angie and me. I guess it must have worked because
Angie wound up ordering me some chocolate covered popcorn.
Looks pretty good in that uniform doesn't he?
P.S. The chocolate covered popcorn has now been delivered, and watch out
Girl Scouts, it's great! Beats those cookies any day!
For Thanksgiving 2004, I was fortunate in that the Nances invited me over for their annual Thanksgiving feast which was great as usual.
Nenette turned out her usual fine holiday meal complete with turkey, dressing, pie and all the fixin's, and I got to enjoy the fellowship of a number of their friends.
Here's Edward standing in line to get some of his mother's cooking, and Nenette serving turkey as fast as she can.
Just before Christmas 2004, Ed and Nenette had a schedule conflict between an old friend's party and one of Edward's basketball games.
I took Edward to the game, got to watch him and his team play, and finished up the evening with pizza at CiCi's and TV at home.
This place is a little different than the backyards we used to play in. Behind him, the building is 5 courts deep and 3 courts wide. Sheer pandemonium with all those referee whistles going off at once!
