Canadian Vacation 1999 |
Like the Banff Springs Inn, the Chateau Lake Louise is an attraction in itself. We grabbed a quick sandwich at the Deli and then decided to explore the lake in a canoe. |
We found out that they serve a monster of an ice cream dip here! After all that canoeing we joined this bunch to enjoy some ice cream!! |
Later, inside Chateau Lake Louise, Angie staked out her claim on her favorite relaxing spot on the second floor in front of a great view! |
Nearby is Emerald Lake. This is actually the "teahouse" as you cross the bridge to the lodge. Guests are brought from the parking lots to the lodge on golf carts. |
Angie's standing on the balcony of Emerald Lake Lodge. Guest cabins can be seen below. The lodge itself includes dining and recreational facilities. |
