Well it's a new year, and we're all trying to catch up on the latest with all our "lost friends".

I was sitting beside Dorothy McGrath, and I had to ask her who was that cute red-head down at the other end of the table sitting with George Huling. You need to come by more often Carol so I won't need to ask!

And look here at who else showed up! Long time, no see to Keith Goldstone and Allegra Burnworth.

And another new face this month was Tom Noble. Tom's sold his lake home and moved back to the Metroplex he told us.

And flanked by dependable regulars, Lynne Saunders was almost a new face! It's been too long Lynne, and I didn't even get to catch up on the gossip with you.

Mike tried to get Allegra into a picture, but said we were all too big and if he got us, she wouldn't fit. He finally decided that I had left it zoomed in.

Next time Allegra gets her picture made with George, we'll have to get her a stool to stand on!

A good time was had by all, and it sure was good to see all those folks that I hadn't seen for ten years or so. Y'all be sure and come back often so we can catch up!

The Wallners are back from all their travels this month! Mike Crye reported that he had some damage to his airplane from the storms last week, but he thinks it can be repaired. Stuffed in Jack Boling's pocket is a picture of the GREAT-grand child!

And down on the Romeo end of the table where I was sitting, folks were waiting for the food to arrive. (ROMEO = Retired Old Men Eating Out, an acronym shamelessly stolen from Wayne Winget and his "First Friday Breakfast group"!)

Charlotte Karam at left put in a first appearance at the June luncheon. It was good to see her again after all these years.

The usual suspects joining her for lunch included Larry Pavlicek (hidden behind Marilyn), Wanda Fox, Marvin Howard, Mauricio Nuñez, Doug Dreggors, and Jim Rushing.

This time I managed to catch Larry and from the front too!

Considering it's August, we had a pretty good lunch turnout.
