We did get out after dinner one evening and visit Prairie Creek water fall. Everyone decided that it was a nice peaceful place to relax after dinner. Fabian got his picture taken standing just at the falls. I'm jealous. His camera takes better pictures than mine!

One afternoon we decided to go up to Lake Texoma. We stopped by Sherman and loaded up on Church's Fried Chicken for a picnic. There was a nice breeze blowing up off the lake, and all our guests were huddled in jackets, despite the 95 plus temperatures. After dinner we walked down to the swimming cove, and by the time they hiked back UP the trail, the jackets came OFF! The humidity must have been at least 98% that day.

Angie had insisted we stop by the grocery and buy a water melon as we were leaving. I'm sure glad she did. It really hit the spot.

A few days later we decided to do the picnic at the lake thing again, this time at the Johnson Creek unit of Lake Ray Roberts. We brought along a grill and Angie cooked corn on the cob and steaks to go along with a great salad. Fabian is teasing her here as his corn is burnt!

You'll note in the background that we brought along the hammock.

Angie's mother made it to the hammock first. I'm not sure whether the others were standing in line for the hammock or just to have their picture taken.
