Ben flew in to Dallas and then he and I drove down to Round Rock for the wedding. (Angie was in Taiwan and missed it.) Had a grand old time meeting the Carolina hillbilly side of the Nance clan, and got to see Sam and Angie Sezgin who were also there.

Gene and Lorrie have settled into domestic life in Round Rock, Texas. I hear they have a nice house which is full of dogs and cats.

Flash! Christopher Ryan Larson arrived April 8'th, 1999, weighing in at 5 lbs 7.6 oz and stretching out to 18 inches. Congratulations Lorrie and Gene!

Flash 2! Amanda Renee Larson arrived June 15'th, 2001, weighing in at 5 lbs 9.6 oz and stretching out to 18 inches. Congratulations Lorrie and Gene!

Lorrie and Gene came up to Ed's birthday party and I got to see them and take a few pictures.

Lorrie met Ed in California with a present. Turned out to be a cap with "Grandpa" on it. Lorrie's expecting an addition to the family in April.

Here's Christopher Ryan Larson, born to Lorrie and Gene on April 8, 1999 and weighing in at 5 lbs 7.6 oz. This picture was taken at 2.5 weeks old. Looks like Gene's getting him all prepped to be a baseballer.

Lorrie and Gene made it up to visit with Ed one weekend, and Walt Bailey made it to town at the same time. We all enjoyed a weekend of catching up all around. Here's Lorrie with Gene and Christopher.

Lorrie and Gene brought Christopher up again recently to visit his grandpa Nance. I snuck over and visited a while right after they got here, and Angie and I joined them for Dim Sum the next day. Here's Lorrie, her father, and her son enjoying each other's company. Christopher is 14 months old in this picture.

Christopher Larson has a brand new baby Sister, Amanda Renee Larson, born on July 15, 2001 weighing 5 lbs 9.6 oz and measuring 18 inches long. She was 4 weeks early, but is now home from the hospital and doing fine.

Congratulations to Christopher, Gene, and Lorrie, and Grandpa Ed too!

The kids are growing up! Lorrie sent along this picture of Christopher, Gene, and Amanda cooling off in the back yard. Looks like Christopher has decided to hose down Amanda who is all ready for the fourth of July, 2002! As humid as it has been around here this spring, I'm tempted to join them in that cool, shady looking back yard!
