Lost Friends Luncheon #20 - 13 Jan 2003

After a Sunday snow, the weather cleared for a nice get together day on Monday, January 13. We were happy to see Tash and Greg put in an appearance, and hope they continue to join us.

Lost Friends Luncheon #21 - 13 Feb 2003

Angie Rocha

Angie Rocha put in a long overdue appearance at the February Luncheon. It sure was good to see her again. When I asked where Steve was, she told me that he is still in D.C. with Uncle Sam's Military.

Lynne Saunder's sister Lou is in deep conversation with Joyce Guthrie and Diane Derks.

Liz and Bill Mertz

Bill Mertz put in a return appearance, this time bringing along his better half. Liz has her own MasterTech AutoCare at 3604 14th Street in Plano, and invites everyone to bring their car in.

And you please join us on the 13th of each month (following Monday if the 13th should fall on a weekend or holiday) at Tino's in Collin Creek Mall at 11:30 a.m.

Lost Friends Luncheon #22 - 13 Mar 2003

It was good to see Donna Hillhouse and Susan Acker at the March Luncheon. I used to do lots of reports for them way back when!

Lost Friends Luncheon #23 - 14 April 2003

Corey Hess

Surprise! Who should show up for the April luncheon but Corey Hess? Been a long time since we've seen him.

We all got caught by surprise when a young lady wearing a ball cap came nonchanantly strolling in pushing a baby carriage. It was Daria Perozzi and her son Sam, a fine looking young man. I don't think any of us even knew that Paul and Daria had a child, so we were really surprised.

Sam Perozzi

Here's a closer view of Sam. Now young feller, you need to go home and tell your daddy to come see us too! It's been too long since we've seen him.

Come to think of it, you're such a spittin' image of him, you just come back!

Lost Friends Luncheon #24 - 13 May 2003

After lots and lots of promises, Brenda Shepherd and Dorothy Claxton came by to have lunch with us. Here they are apparently warning Carol George about the guy behind her with the knife. Oh! Its' only a picture so don't get all shook up!

And you please join us on the 13th of each month (following Monday if the 13th should fall on a weekend or holiday) at Tino's in Collin Creek Mall at 11:30 a.m.

Carol George

Carol George was all smiles and a welcome addition to the lunch bunch.

Betty Merritt, Angie Rocha, and Charlotte Trimble, some more folks we haven't seen in a while, are catching up.

Brenda Shepherd & Dorothy Claxton

Seeing these two together again made it seem just like the good old days. Brenda and Dorothy finally made it, and we were all glad to see them. Y'all be sure and come back, ya hear?

Lost Friends Luncheon #27 - 13 August 2003

Boy this brings back old times! I even remember when Joyce and Eldon shared an office. It was a pleasant surprise to see Joyce Guthrie and Eldon Streck together at lunch again.

Melissa Cunningham, Kim Key, and Carol Avenna

The "still employed" gang was well represented too. Here's Melissa Cunningham, Kim Key, and Carol Avenna.

Wow, they look just bubbling over with good humor. Things must be going well at work.

George Huling was deep in discussion with Kris Mraz when I came in.

If anybody's looking for a good C/C++ programmer, Kris says he's available.

Betty Merritt and Lynne Saunders

Betty and Lynne were catching up on pictures when I caught them. Betty said she and Red have been awfully busy this summer, and Lynne says she's still employed.

Here's Eldon Streck, Mike Crye, Tashima, Marv Howard, and Betty Merritt all preparing to enjoy some good Mexican Food.

Betty and Lynne are still looking at those pictures while Red waits on his lunch.

Lynne borrowed my camera and caught Eldon and myself. Turn-about is fair play I suppose.

Lost Friends Luncheon #28 - 15 September 2003

Hail, hail, the gang's all here - almost!

September's "Lost Friends" luncheon got put off until the 15th, but drew several new faces. Connie Wallner caught most of us in this shot before we left.

L-R: Eldon Streck, Jim Harrison, Mike Crye, George Huling, Minoru Tashima, Angie Rocha, Jim Wallner, Brenda Shepherd, Marv Howard, Larry Pavlicek, Frank Green, & Oliver Rankin.

Frank Green finally put in an appearance for lunch. Really good to see him, even if he did make the rest of us look fat and unfit. Frank's retired now too.

Frank Green

Larry Pavlicek

Larry Pavilcek also met with us for lunch. Larry claims he's still working at Alcatel, but with that shirt, I'm wondering if maybe he's working out of Honolulu! That's Eldon Streck in the background.

How's this for long time - no see - hasn't changed a bit? Oliver Rankin and wife joined us for lunch too. Man it's been a long time since I've seen Oliver.

The Rankins - Oliver and his better half!

Lost Friends Luncheon #31 - 15 December 2003

Everett, Kaplans, Seymour, Kuester, Huling, Brown, Tashima

October and November's "Lost Friends" luncheons drew fair attendances, but no new faces! December had a fine turnout, with a some of the "newly involuntary retired". It looked like time to get some group pictures again. Below are pictures of the whole group excepting myself, and Mary Chavis. (Mary evidently has an exclusive photographic contract with some agency {Kim Dawson?} , and just can't have her picture taken.)

Starting on the back wall, L-R: Bob Everett, Joyce and Dennis Kaplan, Ron Seymour, Dave Kuester, George Huling, Jerry Brown, and Minoru Tashima with his back to the camera.

This group on the end looks like they're worried that someone's going to steal their food! L-R: Ron Seymour, Dave Kuester, George Huling, Jerry Brown, and Tash, once again with his back to the camera.

Seymour, Kuester, Huling, Brown, and Tashima

Simas, Saunders, Housley, Stephens, Howard, Trimble

Moving on around the table, L-R: Lou Simas, Lynne Saunders, Ray Housley, Rex Stephens, Marv Howard, and Charlotte Trimble.

Continuing, L-R: Marv Howard, Charlotte Trimble, Janice Murray, and Mike Crye.

Howard, Trimble, Murray, Crye

Carol Avenna and Vickie Wright

And sitting on the inside and getting all the envious looks, Carol Avenna and Vickie Wright.
