Lost Friends Luncheon #44 - 13 Jan 2005 |
Looks like everybody enjoyed their lunch! |
The ladies were well represented this month. Even Nona had a day off and joined us. We don't see her for lunch that often. Sharon's now working in HR for the City of Plano, but said she still couldn't get me a reduction on my utility bills. Come join us for lunch! It's still at 11:30 on the 13th of every month at Tino's in Collin Creek Mall, the following Monday if the 13th should fall on the weekend or a holiday. |
Lost Friends Luncheon #45 - 14 Feb 2005 |
Last year on Valentine's day we had a good snow! This year it was all sunshine and beautiful blue Texas skies as the temperatures hit 78°. We took full advantage of the weather to meet lots of friends for a good catch up on what's going on. Left to right: Myself, Carol Avenna, Marvin Howard, Ray Housley, Bill England, Weldon Lowe, Lynne Saunders, George Huling (hidden), Rex Stephens, Tashima (hidden), Dianne Dercks (hidden), Bob Everett, and Mike Crye. Thanks to Tino for taking the picture. |
Marilyn got our orders early as they were hosting a crowd of 60 in our usual meeting room. The end of the table that you couldn't see in the preceding picture has, Left to Right: Lynne Saunders, George Huling, Rex Stephens, Tashima, Dianne Dercks, Bob Everett, and Mike Crye, with waitress Marilyn in the background. |
Larry Pavlicek and John Plant came in right after the group pictures, so I caught them separately. |
Lost Friends Luncheon #47 - 13 Apr 2005 |
Look who's back! Eldon Streck abandoned his sunny Florida digs to return to North Texas, and he didn't miss the chance to give me a hard time for not having last months pictures posted! (There were only six of us regulars, all guys, last month so I didn't bother to take pictures!) From the looks of Dennis and Gerry, Eldon must have brought back some pretty good stories too! |

Friday the thirteenth can't scare this bunch off! Fred Hartke joined us for lunch for the first time, and it was good to see him again. L-R: Fred Hartke, Minoru Tashima, Diane Dercks, Lynne Saunders, Bob Everett, Marv Howard, and George Huling. Phil Stickney came in later to add to the merriment. |
Lost Friends Luncheon #52 - 13 Sep 2005 |
Attendance has been sparse during the summer, and I was on Vacation during July. September brought back several folks we hadn't seen in a while. Just to show we're still meeting, I snapped this shot of the whole lunch bunch. L-R: Doug Dreggors, Gerry Brown, Rex Stephens, Ray Housley, Minoru Tashima, Jim Harrison, Red Merritt, and Betty Merritt. The rest of y'all come on back and catch up on what's going on! |
Lost Friends Luncheon #54 - 14 Nov 2005 |
November's lunch brought out a few more folks, including the Wallners who are finally back in town after about a year's absence. L-R: Doug Dreggors, Marilyn-our waitress, George Huling, Eldon Streck, Dorothy McGrath, Connie Wallner, Jim Wallner, Frances Bradford, Bill England, Bob Everett, Marvin Howard. |
Lost Friends Luncheon #55 - 13 Dec 2005 |
Look familiar? (See above) Who's assigning seats around here anyway? December saw a meager crowd of regulars. L-R: Mike Crye, Doug Dreggors, Dennis Kaplan, Ray Housley, Rex Stephens, Connie Wallner, Jim Wallner, Tashima, and Marvin Howard. |
Here's most of the same bunch plus our regular waitress, Marilyn, from the other direction. L-R: Marilyn, Tashima, Marvin Howard, Mike Crye, Doug Dreggors, Dennis Kaplan, Ray Housley, and Rex Stephens. |
